Encouraging Christian educators

LiftED brings Christian educators together for rest, encouragement, practical learning, and fellowship. It supports Christians serving in public schools, Christian schools, homeschools, and other educational settings.

HERO Celebration Dinner

On April 18, the HERO network gathered at New Life Covenant Church for a joyful evening celebrating what God is doing through Christian education across Kansas.

The HERO Celebration Dinner brought together school founders, pastors, teachers, families, and supporters to share stories, honor faithful educators, highlight the impact of scholarships and church partnerships, and look ahead to the continued growth of Christ-centered education.

A SERIOUS GAP

Losing Our Heart And Soul

Many churches have taken a step back from actively influencing educational environments.

This retreat has left a void, one swiftly filled by secular institutions. As a result, the government and other non-faith-based entities now play a predominant role in shaping our children.

Many of the environments shaping our children do not align with our faith or uphold the principles we believe are best for our families and communities.

The consequences are profound. In the absence of spiritual guidance during school hours, our children are increasingly exposed to a curriculum that prioritizes secularism over spiritual growth.

This leads to confusion, a lack of moral standards, and a loss of a centered, faith-based perspective in life's important decisions.

We risk our children losing touch with our Christian values, the values that nurture their spiritual well-being and guide them toward a righteous life.

Now, more than ever, it is imperative for churches to reclaim their influential role in education. By strengthening Christian schools, supporting Christian educators wherever they serve, and investing in children throughout their communities, churches can help restore a faithful presence in education and create more places where faith and intellect grow hand in hand.

OUR EVENTS

HCMA events work to support Christian education in our communities and to engage churches in meaningful K-12 education initiatives.
